Transactional work can be quoted as fixed fee once the scope is established. Litigation work is generally billed by time spent billed at various stages of the matter.

eConveyancing –

In June 2016 I was the first person in Australia to convey a piece of Australian Real Property without using any paper. This was accomplished by combining existing technology in the forms of eContracts and eSettlements. I sold my own investment property being a one bedroomed unit in Dee Why as research for my Masters Degree from the College of Law in Applied Law. By combining the technology available at the time, this transaction made history and fuelled the momentum towards eConveyancing being mandated in NSW and other legislative changes to expressly allow for conveyancing transactions to be conducted using eContracts and eSettlements. Online settlements are generally mandated in NSW and VIC. We get paid on settlement of your matter.

Family Law –

There are three (3) main aspects to Family Law: Property, Parenting and Divorce. Whether you are starting a new relationship and are looking to protect your assets for your children or deciding to go your separate ways, there are options available and I strongly encourage mediation and less adversarial methods to come to an agreement for the best interests of all parties involved. With life expectancy increasing and blended families, there are many factors that need to be explored before moving on to your next relationship. Wealth protection, spousal maintenance and child support are difficult aspects to negotiate when you don’t understand how the legislation will affect your finances. With a strong focus on collaborative law and mediation, I hope to assist clients to resolve their disputes as quickly and cost effectively as possible. Financial Agreements and Consent Order Applications can be a straightforward way of doing this. Parties need to be acting amicably and agree to the terms before each obtaining independent legal advice prior to entering into these binding documents. Transactional work can be quoted as fixed fee once the scope is established. Litigation work is generally billed by time spent billed at various stages of the matter.

From piles of paper work to legal jargon and emotional family disputes, they are the last things you want to deal with when you’re grieving the loss of someone important in your life. With fixed fees and flexible consultation wherever is convenient for you including at home, in hospital, at your workplace or online you can minimize your stress.
